Kids Allowed is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all colleagues and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced DBS along with 2 satisfactory references (one being your most recent employer), all of which we endeavour to do before you start in the centre.

Kids Allowed want to recruit the very best people.  As part of this, you will be expected to attend an assessment afternoon at the centre – we hold these monthly, so there’s always one just around the corner! During the afternoon you will be asked to take part in some activities, whilst being assessed by team members. If you are successful in this part of the assessment you will then be asked to carry out a working interview in one of the nursery rooms where you will carry out your pre-prepared activity. Finally you will be asked to participate in a face to face interview with the Centre Manager where your suitability to work with children will be assessed.

Do you have children of your own?  As a family friendly company, we understand that being a parent and working can be tricky. We try to make this a little easier by listening to you and offering you what you need. For example, we believe that you shouldn’t miss a sports day or school play – so with plenty of notice we do our best to accommodate these special events.

Childcare Apprentice

To provide high quality childcare in a safe, secure and caring environment whilst being a positive role model who inspires and helps the children reach their full potential.

Nursery Nurse Level 2

To work alongside a room-based/centre-based team, to deliver outstanding childcare in a high quality, safe, secure and caring environment. Through detailed coaching and training provided by the company, develop their own knowledge and ability when supporting the team, children and parents to the highest standard. To work alongside the existing team to produce visually stunning and detailed Learning Journeys as part of the key person role.

Nursery Nurse Level 3

To work alongside a room-based/centre-based team to deliver outstanding childcare in a high quality, safe, secure and caring environment. Through detailed coaching and training provided by the company, develop their own knowledge and ability when supporting the team, children and parents to the highest standard. To work alongside the existing team to produce visually stunning and detailed Learning Journeys as part of the key person role.

Senior Nursery Nurse

To provide high quality childcare in a safe, secure and caring environment whilst being a positive role model who inspires and helps the children reach their full potential.

Unit Manager

To welcome and coach team members, helping them to reach their full potential.

Centre Admin Manager

Underpinning the company’s core purpose (Making Children Happy) with a support team, systems and procedures that are clear and work like clockwork, allowing the Manager and childcare team to focus on delivering exceptional childcare.  Ensuring that customers you come into contact and interact with receive a 5 star experience.  To work closely with the Centre Manager providing administrative support and acting as the first point of contact with internal and external personnel.  To liaise with parents, the team and Central Support.

Head Teacher

To support and provide the children high quality childcare and education in a safe, secure and caring environment. To manage and lead the preschool and Prep School room to an outstanding standard whilst being a positive role model who inspires and helps the children. Through specific coaching and daily support, developing their immediate team as well as the centre team as a whole to reach their full potential while delivering the EYFS to the highest standard.

Centre Manager

To be an enthusiastic and inspiring leader who is responsible for the day to day management of the centre ensuring that high quality care and the EYFS is delivered by the team

Driver

To drive the minibus in a safe and lawful manner to transport the children to and from school and any other authorised location

Chef

Producing healthy and nutritious meals for the children on a daily basis whilst ensuring that budgets are met and the kitchen is a safe environment which conforms to Environmental Health standards.  As part of the management team, the chef will have line manager accountability and a responsibility to move the department and Company forward.

Receptionist

To provide a professional and efficient reception to parents, colleagues, visitors and children and to undertake necessary administration tasks in relation to the smooth running of the Centre.

Housekeeper

To clean all areas of the centre thoroughly with the key aim of enhancing the customer experience by having excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
