The Sea Life Centre in The Trafford Centre is packed full of new sights, sounds and experiences that your baby can enjoy. They have tons of interesting sea life for your child to explore. This visit is a fantastic sensory experience that will provide serious pleasure from all the bright lights and discovering new sights. 

They also conduct sessions where babies and children can feel different sea life with your supervision, so they get to feel lots of different textures, like smooth, sticky, wet and rubbery - which is fantastic for their sensory development.

2. Play Factore

Although Play Factore boasts highly entertaining activities such as laser tag, electric go karts and a big red slide, it's still suitable for babies with the dedicated soft play area inside of the Play Factore. While the venue is filled with tunnels, slides, soft shapes and more, Play Factore ensure there are activities that assist your baby's development.

This is because of the exciting iClick interactive floor. By aiding development with the use of movement and colours, you're able to use the screen with them and even let them have a go by showing them what happens when the screen is touched.

4. Shores Fold Community Farm

Give your babies a chance to see animals at this hidden gem located in Levenshulme. Shores Fold Community Farm is home to various animals including goats, kune lime pigs, pigmy goats and more. While your babies are probably a little too young right now to begin their riding sessions, they'll still be able to gently feel and stroke these animals while feeding them too. 

It's not all about the animals either, as there's an outdoor play area available too for them to enjoy.

5. Delamere Forest

The trails are popular among families and young children and as the forest is pushchair friendly, you can keep your baby involved by following the trails where they can see all of the different colours in the forest.

While it doesn't quite feature all of the latest and greatest technology, this educational experienced teaches the little ones all about how life was lived back in the 1920s in Tameside. That doesn't mean it isn't engaging, as there are plenty of activities scattered around for them to get hands-on with.

However, the Nuts and Bolts educational play area is one more suitable for your baby as it's a place for them to unwind, have fun and learn.

10. Wythenshawe Park

Similar to Delamere Forest, Wythenshawe Park is full of activities to keep the entire family happy for a full day out. It's another chance to keep babies fully engaged with their surroundings, as they'll be seeing the glorious ranges of plant life which they've probably never seen before.

During the walk, they'll also see tropical plants of different colours that will pique their interest, while they'll also be easily distracted by the pleasing water features and impressive cacti. With so much greenery around, it's the perfect spot to grab that vital bit of fresh air and even pack along a little picnic with you.
