Allowed to excel
We want to be the best we can be, and help you be the best you can be
Kids Allowed are passionate about raising the standards and status of childcare. The main way we do it is through our team. Everyone who works at Kids Allowed embraces our outlook wholeheartedly and feels as passionately about our goal of ‘making children happy’ as we do.
If you join Kids Allowed, it’s fair to say that we’ll expect a lot of you, but then again, you can expect a lot from us too. (Click here to find out what our package includes.)
We value our team very highly, so we’ll do everything we can to keep you happy and develop your career, while dealing fairly and swiftly with anyone not meeting our high standards.
We aim to get the very best people working with us, and then aim to keep them working with us, by looking after them and rewarding their successes. We firmly believe in celebrating our stars, and arrange regular treats, such as high street vouchers for people who live and breathe our values, or trips to London to attend award ceremonies with a night in a plush hotel.
We’ve built a reputation for being the best employer in childcare and last time we asked, almost 100% of our team said they’d recommend working at Kids Allowed (98.56% to be exact!).
Kids Allowed is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all colleagues and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will need to undertake or currently hold an enhanced CRB disclosure along with 2 satisfactory references (one being your most recent employer) all of which we endeavour to do before you start in the centre.
Kids Allowed want to recruit the very best people and as part of this you will be expected to attend an assessment afternoon at the centre (we hold these monthly so theres always one around the corner!). During the afternoon you will be asked to take part in some activities whilst being assessed by team members. If you are successful in this part of the assessment you will then be asked to carry out a working interview in one of the nursery rooms where you will carry out your pre-prepared activity. Finally you will be asked to participate in a face to face interview with the Centre Manager where your suitability to work with children will be assessed.
